Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Complete the Help Trudi side mission to collect the last piece of armor, the Gold Bolt, and the Spy Robot on Sargasso in Ratchet PS5.
After meeting Emperor Nefarious on your second trip to Zurkie’s, Rivet and Kit will rush to the Sargassum to protect the dead from Nefarious attack. After shooting down the ships and uncovering Rivet’s story in the Pocket Dimension, hop on the teleporter to return to the Gelatonium Factory. Here you will see a dead man standing next to Trudi the dragon. Go forward to start the side mission Help Trudi.
If you’ve been following our comprehensive step-by-step guide, you should still be missing a Gold Bolt, piece of armor, and a Spy Robot on the Sargassum. You can get all three collectibles by completing the optional Help Trudi mission.
Collect zurp stones for Trudi (0-15)
Death will ask you to collect Zurpstones for Trudi. Walk to the left of Trudi and you will see a rift on a large island on the left side of the factory. Shoot it and swing your hammer to collect four Zurpstones. Jump to the right and collect three more below. Hit the nest and ride the Skeetle that appears. Walk the path that turns counterclockwise, making sure you pass through all of the Zurpstone plants along the way. By completing this route, you should have 20 Zurpstones. Go back to Mort and he will ask you to collect 15 more zurp stones. Fortunately, they will all be marked on your map this time.
Collect Zurpstones for Trudi (15-30)
Go down the ramp in front of death and you’ll find a stone below and two more in the center of the island you’re on now. Go up in the elevator next to the three blue buttons to find another one. Go down and look north, you will see a small island with a rift. Use your boots to fly towards her, do a double jump and grab the rift as soon as you can. Grab the stone here, then come back through two separate rifts. Take the Skeetle here and head north, past the last island, until you reach a long ramp. Hold R1 and go up the ramp, dash up to a large rocky island to find another one. Return to the factory and head to the right side of it. Aft is another Zurpstone. On the other side, go down the ramp, jump over the bridge and turn right towards Rivet’s Hideout. You will find another stone hidden just inside the first door on the left. Back outside, you’ll find five more Zurpstones near the buttons you used to unlock the hideout door originally. This should take you to just over 30. Go back to the gelatonium factory and swap Zurpstones with Mort for Ranger Boots
Collect Zurpstones to exchange them for a Spybot (30-60)
Death will then ask you to collect the rest of the Zurpstones with the help of Trudi, so get on Trudi and fly straight and climb up to catch the third golden bolt from the center of a ring on the mountain.
All you need now is a Spybot, and you will need to collect all of the Zurpstones to get it. Open your card and identify the Zurpostone closet that you can see. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to collect high level Zurpstones at this time. If you see one on a building or mountain that you couldn’t walk to, ignore it for now.
The best way to collect the remaining Zurpstones is to mark one on your map and then fly towards it until you can determine whether the stone is accessible or not. If the Zurpstone is on the ground or something you can jump on, put Trudi on the nearest Trudi perch you find and go grab him.
Keep collecting easy-to-reach Zurpstones until you have 45, then climb back up to Trudi. Inexplicably, Trudi can now use his Flame Breath attack to collect the last 15 Zurpstones. Simply open your map, score a Zurpstone, and unleash your Breath of Flame by pressing R2. It will only take you a few minutes to find the last 15 Zurpstones. Whether the Zurpstone is on the ground or high on a perch, Trudi can target the plant and collect the Zurpstone by throwing a fireball at it. Once you have collected the 60 Zurpstones, return to Death and collect the Spybot Sargasses.
With the collection of this Spybot, you should now have the three gold bolts, the four pieces of armor and the Spybot hidden on the Sargassum. If you have everything you need on the Sargassum, return to your ship and travel to Savali to continue the adventure.
