Love Island 2021: Millie Court ‘to win 7 figures and be the new Molly-Mae’
Love Island star Millie Court may have had a rough time in the Villa, but it looks like after the show ends, she could be sorted for a very long time.
Viewers were raving about Millie’s name when Liam Reardon, who she was dating, kissed Casa Amor bombshell Lillie Haynes behind her back as she remained faithful.
But along with their rage, they have also received a lot of support, as Millie has gained around 50,000 Instagram followers every day since the drama and, according to experts, could soon be earning a seven-figure salary.
Not too bad.
Millie has gained over 310,000 Instagram followers over the past week and is now the villa’s most followed islander, having passed Liberty Poole.
It now has over 640,000 subscribers, while Liberty lags behind with 570,000 subscribers.
Millie has the potential to earn up to £ 14,640.89 for a sponsored Instagram post when she leaves the villa, according to data from digital agency 10 Yetis,
She will also likely walk in the footsteps of Love Island legends like Molly-Mae Hague, who has been hugely successful since the series ended.
Stella Reilly, public relations expert and account manager at W, added: “If I had to estimate, I would say Millie could make seven figures before long through partnerships and social media posts.
“I think she’s definitely going to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, winners this season. However, as more ex-Love Islanders roll out social media every year, it’s becoming of increasingly difficult for applicants to build a long career through branded partnerships only.
‘People like Amber [Gill], Molly-Mae, Chris Hughes and the others will always stay on top as they progress in their careers to include TV shows and new product launches.
“She could come out as Molly-Mae, creating her own brand lines and working to be seen as a talent in her own right. Like Amber and Kem [Cetinay], she might also be willing to explore her options in working with mental health charities or generally raising awareness of toxic behaviors and drawing attention to life outside the villa.
Meanwhile, Liam’s behavior may have helped Millie’s career in the long run.
“The drama with Liam has undoubtedly placed Millie on this year’s Love Island map as an unforgettable event, with Millie now having the most social following of any Love Island contestant,” said Stella.
“With social media acting as a form of currency, Millie is in a good position to use this to her advantage; brokerage agreements with some of the biggest fashion brands.
“Millie will be presented with her choice of traditional Love Island partnerships – Boohoo, Pretty Little Thing, etc.,” she added.
“Rocky relationships are always to be expected at the villa, especially after Casa Amor, so Liam’s behavior is nothing new to veteran observers. Millie has behaved remarkably well throughout the situation and the nation is supporting her accordingly.
“People got to see more of Millie’s personality and her roller coaster emotions. She went from a new girl to the girl in the villa, and in a crowded post-Casa Amor villa, it’s hard to secure airtime – as horrible as it was for Millie, it brought her to the fore in every episode and rallied support that she might not otherwise have had. ‘
Although Millie initially held firm with Liam, it looks like she’s on the verge of forgiving him, with the Islander set to share a bed with him again just days after their romance ended.
While she seemed to be finishing things once and for all, Liam grafted in to try and win her back and, at the last recoupling, Millie decided to re-pair with him.
She made it clear that she hadn’t forgotten her demeanor, but was open to rekindling their romance.
Love Island returns tonight at 9 p.m. on ITV.
